HOW IT ALL BEGAN
The Word of God + a creative process = opportunity for God to move in a powerful way!
I have been creative for as long as I can remember. My time in the studio has evolved over the years. At first I would add a verse to my paintings, or make a page in my art journal based on something I had read. I began meditating on scripture while I was creating. A belief I held that was contrary to His Word, or a habit that needed addressing, or even something I had been holding onto and it was time to let go of, would be brought to my mind. I was BLOWN AWAY - each step of the creative process was used to renew my mind, minister to my heart, or heal something within.
This has happened many times. Each time God has worked in a unique way, and I have created a unique piece of art. I now have a visual reminder of what God had revealed to me.
I knew I had to share it with others!
I have since held Devotional Experiences in person with hundreds of women - at churches, women’s events, MOPs groups, and retreats. We have seen Revelation, Truth, and Freedom over and over again!
Creating art has a way of aligning us with the Creator, where He can minister to the heart, mind, soul, and spirit.
The best part - you don’t need to be creative to participate!
Devotional Experiences are accessible for all levels of artistic ability. Because it’s not about making a pretty picture, but the work of the Holy Spirit within. I walk you through each step of the creative process while sharing Biblical Truth.
